Gigi Pizza is a locally-owned pizzeria serving homemade pizzas, Italian subs and poutines. Beloved by locals and those of the surrounding area, Gigi Pizza has been serving it's famous pizza since 1970. This re-branding concept is aimed to revitalize Gigi's look for a younger audience, while still keeping a traditional pizzeria feel to match the historical neighborhood.

The re-brand straddles the line between retro with it's typography and modern with it's color scheme. Colors are derived from the classic Italian flag (red, white, and green) that is so often paired with pizzerias, but given a modern twist by adding a fun pink and mint green. Type is inspired from packaging of the early 1900's, and creates a sense of history and heritage that Gigi's is very proud of.
